A great way to get a unique view of Rome is to walk up Palatine Hill. On the way up you get to see the Roman Forum. Once you get up onto the hill, you have a remarkable panoramic view of the city. It is great to be up there for the sunset, which also means you will not be trying to climb the hill in the heat of the day.
